  • Climb utility poles and towers in modern indoor and outdoor facilities
  • Construct, troubleshoot, and upgrade power grids that link electricity to homes and businesses
  • Operate bucket and auger trucks for power line maintenance and pole installation

Monday – Thursday  4:30pm - 10pm (CDL/Truck Driver Training will be held during the day: 7:30am - 4:30pm, August 13-28)

Pre-Admission Requirements

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a current valid driver's license.
  2. Complete the Power Line Technologies Adult Education application online. You will then gain access to your online account portal. 
  3. Submit a copy of your high school or equivalency transcript through your online account portal.
  4. Upload a current valid drivers license through your online account portal.
  5. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the following link https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.                                   
    • Use school code: 012967 for Mid-East CTC Adult Education.
  6. Applicants are required to attend a mandatory assessment day in late April. Additional information will be mailed in February to applicants.

**Students will be required to to pass a drug screen in order to continue in the program.
