Students will learn to:

  • Save lives by providing critical care in real-world emergency and trauma situations
  • Interact with patients, hospital staff, firefighters, and law enforcement while gaining experience in advance medical procedures
  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment to preform detailed medical and trauma-patient assessments

Upon successful completion of the Paramedic program, students are eligible to take the National Registry Exam.

August 4, 2026 - June 21, 2027 (Dates are tentative)

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 

Clinical Make-Up Time $40/hour

Total Charges:  $14,064*

Pre-Admission Requirements**

Application deadline is March 31, 2026

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Application: Complete application online. You will then gain access to your online student portal.
  • High School Transcript: Submit a copy of your high school/equivalency transcript (not the Diploma) via the online account portal.
    • Contact your high school for your transcript even if you completed a Mid-East CTC high school program.
    • Go to: https://diplomasender.com/#/ to obtain a copy of your equivalency transcript

Prerequisites for Admission Consideration Deadline is May 1, 2026

  • WorkKeys: Submit or take assessment earning a four (4) in Workplace Documents, Graphic Literacy, Applied Math

  • EMT Certification: Submit certification verification, serving one (1) year of experience preferred

  • Driver's License: Submit a copy of current driver's license 

  • NIMS Certifications: Submit your NIMS-100 and NIMS-700 certificates 

  • Anatomy & Physiology: Submit verification of Anatomy & Physiology coursework (minimum high school level). If you do not have previous Anatomy & Physiology coursework, you will need to complete a course in order to meet the requirements for acceptance. 

What's Next?

  • Pre-entrance Exam: Information will be sent via email to students who have completed all prerequisites. Multiple dates will be available for you to choose from. 
  • Interview: Students who meet all requirements will be contacted to schedule an interview with our committee.
  • Financial Aid: Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the following link https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

Upon acceptance:

  • BCI/FBI Background Check: Before the program begins student will complete a BCI/FBI background check through the Adult Education office. The background check must be free of any offenses disqualifying you from the program.
  • Immunizations: Submit a copy of your immunization record and current flu shot 

Students must pass the Paramedic National Registry Exam and gain state certification card to obtain employment as a Paramedic.
