Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Emergency Medical Technician training is designed for people interested in the care and transportation of patients in emergency vehicles. The course contains class work and clinical experience. Learn how to operate an ambulance, transport and care for patients and how to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury.

• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Must be physically capable to perform tasks
• Must be of good moral character
150 hrs 18 weeks

Students may take EMT-Advanced after successful licensure as an EMT.

Be Prepared - Required Training Before Class
To best utilize your time in the EMT program, we are requiring students to submit certificates for the following trainings:
- First Aid/CPR
- NIMS IS-100C and IS-700B
- Rescue Task Force
- Trauma Triage

All certificates can be uploaded in your Student Portal once you have registered for the class.
